ACTIVE MONITORING NOW LIVE

While we await City of Tshwane approval to implement monitored access control, we have launched an interim CCTV monitoring project to keep our neighbourhood protected.

Our network of 25 cameras — including 5 automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras and

20 high-definition units — covers the area around the clock, actively monitored by our professional surveillance partner, i3S. All security flags, suspicious vehicles, and incidents are swiftly attended to by our dedicated reaction partner, Brinant Group.

Through these active partnerships, we have already seen a significant reduction in incidents across our neighbourhood.

CCTV SYSTEM

5 Self sufficient units located at the area’s entry points. Each unit consist of:

  • 1 ANPR camera

  • 3-4 high definition overhead cameras

  • Battery capacity to operate independant from the grid

  • Solar panels & charge unit

  • LTE modem for data transfer

  • Tamper-proof enclosures & switches

24/7 Monitoring

All CCTV units are actively monitored 24/7 by our surveillance partner, i3S, who provide real-time alerts on suspicious and flagged vehicles entering the area, as well as unusual pedestrian activity after hours.

Alerts are instantly pushed to a secure channel, ensuring our armed response partner Brinant Group, can react without delay.

i3S also compiles detailed monthly incident and activity reports, keeping the FGNV committee fully informed and accountable to residents.

Reaction

FGNV offers an exclusive armed response package with Brinant at R389 per household. As our

security partner, Brinant will respond to any alerts triggered by the cameras and actively monitor movement in and out of the area.

For R569 per month, each household benefits from comprehensive armed response while also contributing to overall neighbourhood

security.

* The armed response agreement with Brinant Group is a separate, independent contract between Brinant and each individual household. This agreement does not form part of FGNV's administration. Residents are free to use any armed response provider of their choice.
